Angela Aman

Chief Executive Officer

Chief Executive Officer, Kilroy Realty

Aman heads the $5 billion office real estate investment trust and oversees ownership of more than 100 office buildings and millions of square feet of space on the West Coast. In Jan. 2024, she replaced John Kilroy Jr., longtime leader and son of Kilroy Realty founder John Kilory Sr. She held prior C-suite roles at Brixmor Property Group and Starwood Retail Partners.

Kilroy’s Los Angeles portfolio encompasses 53 properties, more than 4.5 million square feet of rentable space, and is 74 percent occupied overall. The company recently sold Sunset Media Center, an office property in the heart of Hollywood that was only 51 percent occupied, to Hankey Investment Company and Barker Pacific Group for $61 million. That deal came after Kilroy sold an office building in Santa Monica for $40 million that was 65 percent occupied and hinted that it expected to close on another office property at a similar price soon. But the company later purchased a Beverly Hills office campus, Maple Plaza, from Tishman Speyer for more than $200 million. The company’s profits tripled during the third quarter of 2025 but on an earnings call, Aman warned that about a million square feet of leases are set to expire, and mostly expect move-outs this year. Still, Maple Plaza, which was 75 percent leased at the time of purchase, has since “become the strongest driver of leasing activity in our Los Angeles portfolio,” Aman said on the call.
