Anthony Marguleas is real estate’s data guy. 

He loves the numbers and his expertise smartly parses through the stats to come up with big insights. That became even more important post-Palisades Fire, when Margules began releasing reports on the state of the Palisades real estate market. 

That information helped make sense of a market where comps don’t exist to offer a view of dealmaking and deal flow as agents and homeowners sought to understand the new normal. 

The founder and owner of Pacific Palisades boutique brokerage Amalfi Estates started his firm in 1995 and counts over $3 billion in career sales. Marguleas started the 1Pali community group with Ben Perlman earlier this year as a way to provide information and coordinate events for fire survivors such as himself. 

He and his wife Sue’s home in the Alphabet Streets was burned as the couple now looks to rebuild. 1Pali follows Amalfi Estates’ existing work within the community. In year two of the rebuild, at least one thing is certain: There will be new numbers for the Palisades broker to analyze and interpret.
