Ari Pearl
Founder and Chief Executive Officer, PPG Development
Ari Pearl was, for years, known as a development consultant who worked closely with the Chetrit family, but he has emerged as a bigger player in South Florida since the pandemic.
Pearl is now founder and CEO of PPG Development, the Miami-based real estate development and investment firm he launched in 2017 following his split with the Chetrit family. His firm’s portfolio spans more than 2,500 residential units and a slate of luxury hospitality projects across the tri-county region.
Pearl’s rapid upscaling of his operation has landed him in partnerships with some of South Florida’s biggest real estate names and millions of square feet in the works. He has done so by targeting markets long overlooked by Miami development’s mainstream.
His project pipeline includes Shell Bay Residences in Hallandale Beach, an Auberge-branded condo and hotel planned in conjunction with the Witkoff family. He is also partnered with Jonathan Leifer on the eight-story, 44-unit Bay Harbor Towers and the converted condo-hotel the Altair, both of which are in Bay Harbor Islands.
In 2025, he landed $235 million to build Palm Aire, a 728-unit multifamily project in North Miami Beach planned in partnership with Isaac Khabie of Ark Ventures and Matt Press of EquiShares.
