Bobby Julien

Julien’s Delray Beach investment and development firm is among the busiest in Florida, with billions of dollars in projects brought to market and in the works. The firm has covered condos, apartments, single-family and hospitality over nearly 30 years. 

He has been willing to go it alone or engage in various partnerships with prominent colleagues to spread his ambitions from Miami Beach to Naples in recent years. He’s teamed up with Isaac Toledano’s BH Group on a $110 million redevelopment of Crystal Beach Suites in Miami Beach into a 37-unit luxury condo project. On Florida’s west coast, Kolter is planning Olana Naples Residences, an ultra-luxury 12-unit condo project with prices starting at $30 million.

It’s not always smooth sailing for Julien and his partners. He joined with Perko Development to buy out an aging waterfront condo in West Palm Beach for $37.6 million, with plans to build a new 39-unit luxury condominium. Neighboring property owners have sued to stop the project, claiming it received an improper waiver from the county, dubbing it “the Beast of Beach Sound” as part of a public campaign seeking to stop Kolter Group and Perko in their tracks.
