Gale, Holtzman and Trench leveled up in their careers as office leasing brokers largely through a clutch assignment: 830 Brickell. The team fully pre-leased the high-profile Class A tower. 

830 Brickell benefitted from fortuitous timing. It was under construction during the influx of out-of-state companies to South Florida from late 2020 through 2022, prompting many of the new-to-market firms to pre-lease at the tower that had the newest product in Miami. Gale, Holtzman and Trench signed Miami’s first ever leases at $100 per square foot, $190 a foot and $225 a foot at 830 Brickell — all gross rates. 

The brokers, who are overseeing an 8.5 million-square-foot office portfolio on behalf of landlords mostly in Miami, are preleasing Sumaida + Khurana and Bizzi + Bilgili’s Fifth Miami Beach, Landau and Taubco’s One Kane Concourse in Bay Harbor Islands, Allen Morris’ Ziggurat in Coconut Grove, and the office space at the Miami Freedom Park complex that will be home to the Inter Miami MLS team. 

Gale worked for CBRE for much of the 1990s and then joined Atlanta-based Taylor & Mathis to head Florida leasing, eventually hiring Holtzman at the firm and then Trench. In 2016, Gale bought out his Atlanta partners in Taylor & Mathis, taking ownership of its Florida division with a local partner. He then sold it to Cushman that same year, and he, Holtzman and Trench made the move to Cushman.
