Carrie McCormick
Carrie McCormick is one of Chicago’s most recognizable luxury residential brokers, known for putting together deals like the $10 million sale of a penthouse 4 East Elm Street, the only downtown property to crack eight figures last year.
She started in real estate in the late 1990s after working in sales at E*Trade.
An @properties Christie’s International Real Estate agent, McCormick built her brand on visibility and access, frequently handling marquee listings and working with high-net-worth buyers and sellers. With her social media presence and her exclusive events around fashion, fine art and luxury cars, McCormick sells the lifestyle and image of the ultra wealthy as much as the space itself.
“I really concentrated more on the experience and service that people were getting from me,” she said. “And it really catapulted itself. It was very authentic and intentional.”
McCormick came in second in The Real Deal’s 2025 ranking of top Chicago brokers with $310 million in sales. Her career sales volume is more than $2 billion. McCormick is one of the few solo agents breaking TRD’s top agents rankings, and she said she intends to keep it that way, favoring a boutique, white glove service over a large team.
