Chad Carroll

Agent

A one-time real estate reality darling, Carroll left the limelight and put his nose to the grindstone.

Almost 20 years into his career, the Miami-based agent leads his namesake team at Compass. The 40-agent operation closed $544.9 million in on-market sales last year, landing it in second place in The Real Deal’s 2025 broker ranking. Known for his high-volume production and visibility in both Miami-Dade and Broward markets, Carroll has built a business of team-driven scale at a luxury price point.

He is Compass’ top-producing agent in Florida and a player in the tri-county region’s trophy market. In 2023, he represented the buyer in the $57 million sale of 27 Star Island Drive, marking his biggest deal to date and one of Miami’s most notable residential sales of the year.

Raised in Bexley, Ohio, Carroll launched his career at Douglas Elliman in 2009 during the financial crisis. In 2014, he starred in the one-season run of Bravo’s “Million Dollar Listing Miami,” alongside Elliman agents Samantha DeBianchi and Chris Leavitt. The show raised his profile nationally, but didn’t prove as successful as its sister shows in Los Angeles and New York, which bore stars like Fredrik Eklund, Ryan Serhant and Josh Flagg.

After the show ended, Carroll built his team into Elliman’s top-selling group in Miami. He jumped ship to Compass in 2020, just five years after the brokerage had expanded to the Magic City. In the wake of the Compass-Anywhere merger, he is now the veteran sales leader at the region’s biggest brokerage.
