David Parnes
Estates Director, Carolwood Estates
For some, it’s hard to shed the stigma that can at times come from being on reality TV. David Parnes seems to have done so effortlessly, parlaying small-screen fame into a serious business in Los Angeles’ high end, alongside his former Bond Street Partners co-founder James Harris.
Parnes, who worked in finance before getting into real estate, counts more than $5 billion in career sales and, with Harris, led Bond Street to secure the No. 1 spots on RealTrends’ medium teams ranking both nationally and statewide, based on $940 million in 2024 sales volume across 76 sides.
Now, the industry’s watching to see what the two can do on their own, after announcing their team’s split in September. Both remain at Carolwood, the brokerage the duo brought their team to in February 2024 from The Agency.
Parnes was one of several agents on the listing of 630 Nimes Road in Bel-Air, which closed in May for $110 million. That brought his total career residential transactions in the nine-figure range to three, with Nimes Road tied in the No. 1 spot for L.A. County’s priciest 2025 sale.
