Gerry and Joe Liguori
Gerry and Joe Liguori wear the same suits, drive the same car and do the same job. They are the fast-talking identical twin brothers who, along with their partner Carmen D’Angelo Jr., lead Premier Estate Properties.
With more than three decades in the business, theirs is among Palm Beach County’s most influential boutique luxury real estate firms. Under the twins’ leadership, Premier has grown into a dominant force in South Florida’s high-end residential market, representing some of the region’s most significant estates and waterfront properties. The firm’s roster of agents includes top producers such as Margit Brandt and Jim McCann in Palm Beach, both of whom frequently sell homes above the $50 million mark.
The Liguori brothers come from a multigenerational real estate lineage. Their father founded Allbrook Realty in Pittsburgh during the city’s post–World War II real estate boom, embedding the family in the brokerage business from an early age. Gerry and Joe moved to South Florida and co-founded Premier Estate Properties with D’Angelo in 1993. They have kept the real estate family legacy going: at least eight Liguoris work as agents at the firm.
From the outset, they have focused exclusively on sales of $1 million or more, eschewing non-luxury markets.
Riding the rising tide of South Florida’s luxury market, the brothers expanded their Boca Raton–based operation to seven offices stretching all the way up to Vero Beach. But the brokerage landscape is shifting beneath their feet, and the Liguoris now must contend with behemoths like Compass encroaching upon their territory.
