Managing broker, Vesta Team at Vesta Preferred Realty

Pekarsky has grown Vesta into one of the city’s highest-volume residential sales teams, built on pace, repetition and deep local coverage.

Pekarsky co-founded his independent brokerage in 2009 with business partner Brad Robbins.

Pekarsky’s team ranked fourth in The Real Deal’s 2025 Cook County agent rankings after closing $235.5 million across 480 transactions. In 2024, his team crossed $1 billion in lifetime sales, Pekarsky said — a milestone that underscored the firm’s steady climb without outside backing. “We’re completely independent — boutique — no startup capital,” Pekarsky said. “We are completely and solely Chicago born and bred.”

The Vesta Team now includes roughly 40 agents and focuses on high-volume dealmaking with an average sale price around $500,000. Most of that business is concentrated in the city, though the firm has pushed outward as well, opening an office in Naperville in 2025 to capture more western suburban demand.

Pekarsky attended the University of Michigan, where he initially planned to study veterinary medicine before pivoting to finance. He later moved to Chicago to pursue real estate and has built a career rooted in local knowledge, transaction efficiency and scale.
