Kirk Rudy
Managing Principal, Endeavor Real Estate Group
Rudy’s career has tracked Austin’s transformation from college town to full-fledged commercial powerhouse.
The former Austin city leader for Trammell Crow Company helped oversee millions of square feet of commercial development before launching Endeavor Real Estate Group with Bryce Miller, Andy Pastor, Jeff Newberg and David Roche in 1999 with a bold bet on a 310-acre former IBM campus. That project became the Domain, now one of the city’s defining mixed-use districts and a template for Austin’s growth beyond its historic core.
Endeavor has since built a portfolio spanning downtown office towers, multifamily projects and large-scale mixed-use developments, including a contentious proposal to redevelop the former Austin American-Statesman site on South Congress Avenue and a planned nine-story redevelopment of the Waterloo Records shopping center.
Most recently, Endeavor expanded beyond Central Texas, acquiring Preston Sherry Plaza in Dallas’ Preston Hollow neighborhood — the firm’s first mixed-use property in the city.
Endeavor launched a student housing division in 2024 and is developing a mixed-use district with Texas Christian University in Fort Worth. In 2025, it added a hospitality arm through the acquisition of JMI Realty’s hotel development team, positioning the firm to pursue standalone and mixed-use hotel projects as its geographic ambitions grow.
