Rob Lapidus and David Levinson
Lapidus and Levison’s development firm L&L Holding made its mark on city history with 425 Park Avenue.
When the Norman Foster-designed skyscraper was completed in 2022, it was the first full-block office project on Park Avenue in nearly 50 years. The tower, anchored by Ken Griffin’s Citadel over 22 floors, attracted A-list tenants. The tower in 2024 secured a $911 million refinancing.
But Lapidus and Levinson, who founded L&L in 2000, are among the many NYC developers building projects in Miami, including a 509-unit multifamily project in Wynwood.
The development group lost one of its most notable projects in 2024.
A group of Goldman Sachs-led lenders took control of Fortress Investment Group and L&L Holding’s TSX Broadway, a $2.5 billion development in the heart of Times Square, after the borrowers failed to pay off their loan.
In a separate venture, Levinson has partnered with former CEO Silverstein Properties to create L&L Infinite. The company will focus on development, acquisition and debt strategies throughout the U.S.
