Lissette Calderon

Chief Executive Officer

Calderon got her start working at Terremark and for Miami’s condo king, Jorge Pérez, at the Related Group in the 1990s. She eventually went off on her own, building more than 1,000 condo units along the Miami River. Calderon returned to Related in 2014, becoming the first woman to lead a division at the firm.

She left Related in 2017 to lead her company, Neology Life Development Group, shifting her focus to multifamily rental apartments. The Miami native is one of the few women developers in South Florida developing at scale. She’s known as the “Queen of the Miami River,” with projects that include Neo Lofts, Neo Vertika, Wind by Neo and Pier 19 Residences & Marina.

Calderon has also targeted Miami’s Allapattah neighborhood with more than 700 apartments spread across a handful of projects that include No. 17 Residences, The Julia and Fourteen Allapattah Residences.

In 2016, Calderon was followed by a private investigator as fierce competition over a Miami Dade College site in downtown Miami heated up. That project never got off the ground, and it’s now the site of President Trump’s planned presidential library.
