A fourth-generation realtor, Laricy’s career has straddled brokerage growth, brand building and periodic reinvention.
Laricy ranked third in The Real Deal’s 2025 rankings of top Cook County brokers with $273 million in sales across 521 transactions, and he took the top spot in 2024. Laricy’s brokerage, Americorp, which consists mainly of his team, was the 18th-ranked brokerage by sales volume in the same time period.
Laricy comes from a real estate lineage: His great-grandfather and grandfather were agents, and his father started Americorp in 1978. Laricy grew up in the city’s South Side, and in 2006 started working at his father’s nearby office. A couple years later, Laricy started working in downtown Chicago, where he now does most of his business.
He has taken to social media to market and educate his audience on the market. With his podcast Laricy Live, weekly market report and frequent Instagram videos, and tens of thousands of followers on Instagram and TikTok, Laricy credits his content with bringing him more than 150 leads a month.
