Nadim Ashi

The Four Seasons Hotel and Residences at the Surf Club put Ashi on the map in South Florida. 

The luxury condo and hotel development, completed in Surfside in 2017, set records for condo sales, creating a new benchmark for that segment of the market. Ashi went on to develop or purchase all Four Seasons-branded properties across the region, and his firm built additional phases to the Surfside project.  

Ashi, who founded and leads Fort Partners, rarely speaks to the press and typically does not hire outside brokerage firms to handle sales and marketing of his projects, preferring to go the ultra-exclusive route. He is known locally for his Four Seasons projects, but his background is in financial services, e-commerce and information technology. He began investing in Miami Beach in the 1980s and moved to Florida in 2001. Around that time, he began selling real estate in Latin America and retrofitting properties he had purchased. 

The Surf Club was his first ground-up development, and it was a complicated one that involved historic preservation of the original Surf Club structure, a Russell Pancoast-designed building from the 1920s. Buyers there included Miami Heat President Pat Riley and his wife, Chris; the LeFrak family; and the ex-wife of billionaire hedge funder Israel Englander.
