Nikki Field

Founder, Field Team

Before Field sold multimillion-dollar penthouses, she traded medical offices.

Field and former business partner, Gillian Jolis, brought their business to Sotheby’s International Real Estate in 1998, at a time when the brokerage didn’t even allow teams. Since then, Field has grown the team into an international operation with desks serving clients in Asia, the Middle East, Europe, Canada and India.

Field, who was a flight attendant for Pan Am in the 1970s, was among an early crop of agents to embrace the arrival of foreign buyers to the city’s market during the condo development boom in the 2010s, working with developers and Chinese and Russian buyers. In 2019, she sold three units at 212 Fifth Avenue to Jeff Bezos for $80 million.

Field took over sales at JDS Development and Property Markets Group’s 111 West 57th Street on Billionaires’ Row in July 2024, and turned the development from a stagnating supertall to one where deals routinely top weekly contract reports. In 2025, the Field Team placed sixth among the city’s top resale brokers and 29th among the leading new development agents with a combined $217 million in sell-side transactions.
