Peter Riguardi

Chairman, President of NY region

Riguardi has seen it all over his four-decade career in real estate.

He was an advisor to the Port Authority on its redevelopment of the World Trade Center after September 11, 2001. He handled some of the largest leases in Hudson Yards. And now he has over 2,700 JLL employees across seven offices.
Riguardi’s real estate career began at GVA Williams Real Estate in 1983. He would lock his desk and put scotch tape underneath to make sure no one had a key to break in and find his leads.

He joined JLL in 2002 and has handled the firm’s mega-lease deals with utra-corporate tenants.  Bank of America’s 1.5 million square foot lease at One Bryant Park and BlackRock’s 1 million square foot lease at 50 Hudson Yards.

Riguardi is poised to lead JLL’s tri-state team despite a strange start to 2026. JLL’s CEO of U.S. leasing resigned just three weeks into his job. It is unclear why he left.
