Terrence Maiden

CEO, Managing Partner

Maiden’s Dallas-based real estate development firm made its mark repositioning overlooked retail and mixed-use properties, particularly in southern Dallas. A native of Oak Cliff, Maiden has become one of the more visible developers working at the intersection of commercial real estate and community redevelopment in the city.

Maiden founded Russell Glen after stints on the development and corporate retail sides of the business. He previously served as an executive at Corinth Properties, where he worked on projects including Glen Oaks Crossings and Hatcher Station. Before that, he led real estate expansion efforts for national restaurant chains including Panda Express and Panera. His career began at the Woodmont Company.

Russell Glen is best known for its partnership in the Shops at RedBird, a long-struggling mall that Peter Brodsky and his partners reimagined as a mixed-use campus anchored by office, healthcare and community uses rather than pure retail. The project has drawn public and private investment and has been closely watched as a test case for large-scale retail redevelopment in underserved markets.
