Silergy Technology is moving its corporate hub from Sunnyvale to an office and research campus in Santa Clara owned by the Irvine Company.

The semiconductor firm is shifting its headquarters to a 27,715-square-foot office and research building at 2600 Great America Parkway, the San Francisco Business Times reported.

Silergy will hold onto its offices at 1307 South Mary Avenue in Sunnyvale.

Its new headquarters will be at Santa Clara Gateway, a multi-tenant campus owned by the Newport Beach-based real estate giant. Terms of the lease were not disclosed.

Cushman & Wakefield represented Silergy in the deal.

The move comes after continued growth for the semiconductor company over the past decade, according to Silergy officials. Its revenue grew to $800 million in the last fiscal year while the company has a market cap of more than $7 billion.

Silergy’s new headquarters will have both offices and labs for administrative, engineering and research and development functions.

“Silicon Valley is the epicenter of innovation and so it is important for our headquarters to have access to the resources and talent from around the Bay Area to take our innovation to the next level around the world,” Silergy Technology CEO Mike Grimm said in a statement.
