The lawsuit, filed Aug. 14 in San Francisco Superior Court, says the firm’s monthly rent at the 471,000-square-foot tower is just over $100,000.
Thornton Tomasetti signed a lease for 15,129 square feet on the 14th floor of the tower in 2013 and an amendment in 2019 agreeing to remain fully responsible for the rent, according to the suit. The firm declined to comment on the lawsuit to the Business Times.
