Corcoran Global Living announced that former Thrive Real Estate President Steve Belluomini will become its regional vice president for sales, covering a territory from San Francisco to Santa Cruz.

The announcement came two months after a merger earlier of Corcoran  Global Living and Thrive. Belluomini focused primarily on Peninsula listings in his prior post. He will be based out of the San Mateo office.

The merger added 250 associates and five Bay Area offices to the franchise affiliate of New York’s Corcoran Group, for a total of more than 700 agents in the region and 80 offices overall. The firm began with 450 agents and 13 offices back in February 2020, when San Francisco-based Zephyr Real Estate combined with Oliver Luxury Real Estate, which covered the Lake Tahoe and Reno markets.

Corcoran Global Living also announced that another former Thrive manager, Samantha Huang, is now the District Sales Manager for San Francisco’s Noe Valley office. She had been the manager of Thrive’s Mission District office, which will be shuttered and combined with the Noe Valley location.

Corcoran Global Living has been on an expansion kick in the Bay Area, and has shown a penchant from retaining the heads of agencies they’ve absorbed for key leadership roles. After the brokerage merged with Highland Partners, a boutique luxury agency with about 70 agents in the East Bay, co-founders Heidi Marchesotti and Adam Betta became the new district office managers for Corcoran Global Living’s East Bay operations. After absorbing Terra Firma in the summer of 2020, the co-founder of the 80-agent wine country firm, Bill Facendini, became the managing broker for Napa and Sonoma counties.
