Jennifer Lind is Coldwell Banker Realty’s new president of the West Region. She will oversee operations in California, Hawaii, Oregon and Washington.
Before her promotion, Lind served as president for Northern California and oversaw the onboarding of $97 million gross commission income in 2022, a company record. As regional president, Lind was responsible for oversight of 11,197 agents across 133 sales offices. Combined, these offices brought in a total sales volume of more than $52 billion with 43,217 transactions in 2022.
Before joining Coldwell, Lind spent 16 years at John Scott Real Estate and a year and a half at Windermere Real Estate where she held executive roles.
➤Coldwell has also recruited talent from the brokerage The Swann Group. Led by Rachel Swann, its members have affiliated with Coldwell Banker Realty in Northern California from Compass.
The Swann Group, known for its extensive luxury property experience in San Francisco, wine country and beyond, is a five-person team that has closed more than $500 million in sales in the last decade.
Swann caters to clients in Napa and Sonoma counties, in addition to San Francisco. Last year, the team did more than $100 million in sales volume. Swann serves as the director of the team’s luxury division and Rachel Hooper is the associate director of the luxury division; both oversee luxury residence and investment specialist support.
➤Compass NorCal is bringing on a real estate veteran to bolster its luxury team. Joseph Magsaysay’s hiring expands the leadership team and enhances the brokerage’s presence in Silicon Valley and the Peninsula. He will begin his new role on Sept. 5.
Magsaysay brings 10 years of real estate experience to the job; he previously held positions at Better Homes and Gardens, Sotheby’s and Keller Williams in the Midwest. His most
recent position was executive vice president for BH&G Preferred Properties in
St. Louis.
➤McCullough Landscape Architecture is expanding into the Bay Area with a new Oakland office. To lead the office, the firm has tapped Senior Associate Designer Mahalakshmi “Maha” Balachandran, and new team member Akshay Badwe, a 15-year veteran landscape architect.
Balachandran has more than 10 years at McCullough. She has experience in designing and managing projects ranging from multi-family, mixed-use housing, education and retail to corporate campuses.
Badwe spent the last seven years at Bay Area-based firms Vita and Stoev Design Group. He has experience working on global projects from India to San Rafael and Sausalito.
➤Sentral, a San Francisco-based residential hospitality management company, has promoted Lisa Yeh to the position of president. Yeh served as Sentral’s chief operating officer for more than two years and brings more than 20 years of multifamily experience to the job.In her new role, Yeh will lead the expansion of Sentral’s portfolio of residential hospitality companies. She will oversee day-to-day operations, in addition to her current responsibilities. During her time as COO, Yeh drove a 20 percent lift in net operating income for property owners.
