Did Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerberg quietly come and go in Woodside?

An entity linked to Zuckerberg sold a “European-inspired estate” in Woodside, cashing out of the home after just two years, The Real Deal has learned.

The property, at 75 Roberta Drive, is a 4,800-square-foot home that sits on a 3.5-acre lot in central Woodside, according to a listing on Zillow. The four-bedroom, three-and-half-bath property changed hands in a $29.6 million transaction on March 4, according to records filed with San Mateo County.

The buyer was a limited liability company called Toy Balloon, according to the deed.

The brokers involved in the deal are unknown. Mary Gullixson, a Compass agent who previously handled the listing on the property, said that she was not involved in the recent deal. The Zuckerberg-linked entity bought the home in December 2021, property records show.

Ownership of the mansion is obscured in several layers of anonymous entities. The entity that sold the mansion, 75 Roberta LLC, is managed by Cheyenne, Wyoming-based limited liability company A7P Services, according to records from San Mateo County Clerk-Recorder’s Office and California’s Secretary of State. A7P Services’ business address, at 415 West 17th Street, Unit B2 in Cheyenne, is identical to that of A7P Trust Company Inc. Trustee, according to records from the Securities and Exchange Commission.

In May 2022, A7P Trust Company Inc. Trustee was tagged as the supposed owner of Zuckerberg’s private jet. In a previous interview with Bloomberg, Jack Sweeney, who previously had a brush with Internet fame for tracking the location of billionaire Elon Musk through his jet, claimed that he had identified Zuckerberg’s private jet. Part of the body of evidence that Sweeney pointed to was the aircraft’s registration code, which linked back to A7P Trust.

The signatory for 75 Roberta’s company registration was Apercen Partners, a tax consulting firm that represents wealthy clients in the tech industry. The company previously arranged deals involving Zuckerberg and his sister, including the purchase of a $22.3 million New York City townhouse in 2015.

Zuckerberg has a real estate portfolio in California and Hawaii valued at $320 million, according to a report from The New York Post. In 2022, he sold a mansion in San Francisco for $31 million. He also owns a residential complex that occupies half a block in Palo Alto.
