TRD headed to Galveston to take a look at Tiara on the Beach for the latest entry in our Developer Diaries series.
The city on the Gulf is in the middle of a resurgence, and Tiara is designed to appeal to the luxury-seeking buyers returning to Galveston for the first time in decades.
“There hasn’t been a new development in Galveston for over last 17 years,” said Tiara developer Sunny Bathija. “It’s time that we brought in a new product and something with a new vision.”
With new buyers come changed tastes. Equipped with custom Italian cabinetry, Thermador and Gaggenau appliances, and private entrances in a majority of units, the homes at Tiara cater to an elevated clientele.
The appliance package in particular has been curated to make a statement. The Thermador appliances found across the project take their design cues from professional chefs, giving residents unparalleled quality and style. Meanwhile, the penthouses feature top-of-the-line Gaggenau appliances that represent the very edge of design and artistry.
“The timing of the project allowed them to get the brand new Expressive Series of the Gaggenau cooking that’s actually launching in December of this year,” explained Phyllis Overstreet, Builder & Project Sales Manager, BSH Home Appliances Corp. “The appliances that they selected for Tiara are absolutely gorgeous.”
From location to amenities to interiors, Tiara on the Beach is breathing new life into Galveston’s luxury resi space.
“The buyers that come here are not looking for a condo. They’re looking for a lifestyle,” explained Nancy Almodovar, CEO & Co-Founder, Nan & Company Properties. “Tiara on the Beach[…]sets the bar for any future developments coming to the island.”
