Christie’s International Heads to the Top of the Rock

Christie’s International Real Estate Group has moved into a stylish new office at One Rockefeller Plaza, and Sonja Cullaro, the firm’s co-founder and EVP, gave The Real Deal an exclusive look at how her team is utilizing the new space. “One Rockefeller Center is truly in the heart of it all here in New York City,” said Cullaro, whose team bridges the gap between local and regional expertise while leveraging Christie’s International’s worldwide connections; as Cullaro notes, “Christie’s International real estate network is comprised of more than 31,000 agents across 50 countries in 940 offices, and we do over 100 billion in sales annually.” Regionally, in the tri-state area, Christie’s International Real Estate Group has more than 30 offices and 1,000 associates serving New York, New Jersey and Connecticut.  Additionally, the new office’s location “just steps away from Christie’s Auction House on 49th Street” reinforces the synergy between the real estate practice and auction house, which generate business and leads for one another to grow both practices.

Thanks to its global reach, cutting edge technology, and “unparalleled marketing,” Christie’s is the best place to buy and sell real estate in the tristate area, especially high end and rare parcels that require expert handling. “We are part of the fastest growing real estate business in the tristate area,” remarks Cullaro. “We’re very proud to be bringing the unique Christie’s experience and more than 250 years of brand tradition to our clients.”

Agents looking for a new home should consider working with Cullaro and her team, especially those with a hunger for more exposure and experience. “We provide ongoing opportunities for growth and development for agents looking to grow their business,” explains Cullaro, who notes that the new office is an important step in the company’s expansion. “This is our flagship New York City office, but there will be others.”
