Team at RBC Wealth Management – U.S.  Completes $230 Million Refinance of Plant Riverside District in Savannah, Georgia

The Ruccio Group, led by financial advisors Jeremy Ruccio and Bita Asgari, a financial advisor team with RBC Wealth Management – U.S. has closed a $230 million deal to refinance a mixed-use project in Savannah’s Entertainment District.

The project is a four-and-a-half-acre mixed-use space, which is in Savannah’s Entertainment District and a 419-room full-service luxury hotel. The project also encompasses 13 Food & Beverage outlets, 27,800 SF of indoor / outdoor event space, 20,140 SF of retail space, a live music venue, spa, art gallery, fitness centers, rooftop pool, and a 488-space parking garage. 

“The Plant Riverside District is a legacy project for our company, the city of Savannah, and the state of Georgia. It is the most significant redevelopment in Savannah’s historic district and has proven to be a catalyst for continued economic growth in the area, especially River Street, with over 17 million visitors per year” said Mark Kessler, President and COO of Kessler Collection Design & Development, which owns the hotel/development site.
