Water is the foundation of life; at SoLé Mia, it’s the foundation of a lifestyle.
Sitting at the heart of this 184-acre, master-planned North Miami community, the vibrant blue Crystal Lagoon® anchors a host of recreational amenities for SoLé Mia residents. Rising over the lagoon is ONE Park Tower, the 33-story condo offering from Turnberry that will bring 292 luxury residences to the community when it opens this spring. The Real Deal spoke with Aly-khan Merali, President and Chief Financial Officer of Turnberry, and Jay Phillip Parker, Chief Executive Officer of Brokerage for Douglas Elliman’s Florida Division, to learn about the latest addition to SoLé Mia.
SoLé Mia: An overnight success 10 years in the making
ONE Park Tower is the newest building at SoLé Mia, and the first condo option at the community which so far has only offered rentals. Turnberry centered the community around the lagoon, creating a self-contained tropical setting that provides an iconic expression of Miami’s indoor/outdoor lifestyle.
“We’re in the business of creating destinations, and we built the lagoon first,” says Merali. “This amazing water feature creates a destination, a location for people to come, to be healthy, to be active, to be outside in a secure environment with beautiful facilities.”
The Tower is already a major win for Turnberry. The 292-residence building is 80% sold out, with more penthouses being released as the spring/summer delivery approaches.
“SoLé Mia is an overnight success that’s been 10 years in the making,” says Merali.
A towering achievement
ONE Park Tower was designed by Arquitectonica with interiors by Meyer Davis, and sits within a walkable ecosystem of trails, dining, wellness and lifestyle offerings. The Tower’s panoramic views encompass Oleta River State Park, the Atlantic Ocean, the Miami skyline and Laguna SoLé, also known as the Crystal Lagoon®.

Residents can swim, snorkel or paddleboard in the lagoon, which evokes Caribbean waters and includes three private beaches and a small island. Turnberry developed the lagoon first, setting the foundation for the tower and other components that followed.
“What we really believe and what we really do is curate destinations,” says Merali.
Ahead of a Spring/Summer 2026 delivery and the building’s other units mostly sold, Turnberry released the building’s penthouses, which feature designs departing from the typical top-floor formula, giving each residence a unique character.
“It’s an interesting dynamic for buyers,” explains Parker. “Each penthouse reflects a different lifestyle, as unique as the person who chooses it.”
Beyond the penthouses, ONE Park Tower’s 292 residences range from one- to three-bedrooms, all designed with sweeping balconies, floor-to-ceiling glass and access to The Crystal Lagoon® and the broader SoLé Mia community.
Lifestyle above all
Turnberry’s strategy at SoLé Mia and beyond has leaned heavily on infrastructure that supports year-round residents rather than transient demand. The Crystal Lagoon® is just the first piece of the puzzle; the developer Turnberry added other recreational amenities and then expanded their vision to include everything that residents need to feel at home.
“One of the things that is becoming harder and harder to replicate is the ability to walk out your door and have a lifestyle at your fingertips without getting in a car,” says Parker. “This is the culmination, if you will, of the brilliance of retail, residential, hospitality, lifestyle — all incorporated into one extraordinary community.”
Healthcare and education have been central to that plan. UHealth SoLé Mia, part of the University of Miami Health System, opened in September 2025 and now serves close to 1,000 patients per day. Mater Academy, a charter school from the award-winning Academica Educational Community, is also integrated into SoLé Mia.
Dining opportunities abound, from the on-site Sesame Bakery that offers fresh coffee, sandwiches and tasty treats to Pura Vida Miami, where diners can grab smoothies and salads. Residents can play padel, a racket sport different from tennis or pickleball, on the local courts of Reserve Padel.
Merali described the broader SoLé Mia investment as a long-term commitment, noting that Turnberry and its partners, including the LeFrak family, have invested more than $1 billion into the community to date.
“We have a long-term lens in everything that we do,” says Merali. “We’re not in it for short-term wins. We’re here to build something that’s generational, that stands the test of time, that’s curated and that means a lot, not only to ourselves, but to the community.”
That goal goes to the center of the project.
“We’re thrilled with the success we have here,” reflects Merali. “We envisioned this as a home. Not just a condo. It’s not just a unit people are buying. They’re buying a destination.”
