Corcoran Sunshine Marketing Group has managed to squish together the names of two of the most influential women in New York City residential real estate in the 20th century.

But for the last two decades, it has been led by a third who might have an argument to that title for the 21st century: Kelly Kennedy Mack.

Under her watch, the marketing group has done over $50 billion in sales and turned into developers’ go-to shop when they want to market their flashy new product. Name a project and Corcoran Sunshine has likely been involved: from Vornado’s Billionaire’s Row bid at 220 Central Park South to Related Companies’ Downtown celebrity magnet at 70 Vestry Street and boutique ultra-luxury products like the Rudin’s Greenwich Lane, it’s rare to see a high-end offering without Kennedy Mack’s team circling the building.

But despite the prolific sales numbers at big-name buildings, Kennedy Mack has maintained a relatively low profile in the industry — something she says is not an accident.

“There’s a lot of people who work in this business, who know my name but don’t even know what I look like,” she said.
