As part of ExxonMobil’s headquarters move to Houston, the oil company has partnered with Jones Lang LaSalle to list its Dallas-area office campus for sale.

ExxonMobil’s 290-acre property in Irving is marketed on JLL’s website for an undisclosed price. The corporate headquarters campus includes a 365,000-square-foot office building surrounded by more than 200 acres of undeveloped land in the Las Colinas master planned community on State Highway 14, the Dallas Morning News reported.

The international energy company announced earlier this year that it would relocate its headquarters to its City Place campus in Houston by mid-2023 as the company consolidates operations. About 250 people are employed at the Irving corporate offices that were built in 1996, and those positions will be eliminated or moved to the campus in Houston, DMN reported.

Michael Swaldi, senior managing director of capital markets for JLL, did not immediately provide comment to The Real Deal.

ExxonMobil’s Irving campus has room for 346 offices and includes a coffee shop, dining hall and fitness center. The property’s zoning will allow for different commercial uses including office and light manufacturing, according to the listing. JLL said the parcel is development-ready and is at one of the most desired addresses in North Texas.

Las Colinas, a 12,000-acre community development between Dallas and Fort Worth, has been a focus of corporate and business relocation. Companies such as McKesson, Kimberly-Clark, Pioneer Natural Resources, Microsoft and Oracle have offices in the area, according to its website. The region has been popularized as an affluent urban hub complete with luxury hotels, golf courses and private country clubs.

Earlier this year, Toll Brothers Apartment Living announced a $78 million upscale multifamily complex in the Las Colinas area next to the ExxonMobil campus.
