An Arizona auction house is selling a 5-acre Texas ranch less than an hour from the Dallas/Fort Worth area.
The Sunset Pines Ranch will be up for auction in early May, Supreme Auctions announced on Tuesday. The ranch, located at 12928 Saint John Road, was put on the market last week for $2,995,000. The price is a major jump from its last listing of $680,000 before being removed in March, according to Realtor.com. Supreme Auctions did not disclose the opening bidding price for the May auction.
Natalie Swanson of Coldwell Banker Apex represents the seller and is working in collaboration with Supreme Auctions to get the luxury property sold. “The moment I saw it, I knew that offering it to the market with Supreme Auctions would be the best route to expose the property to the widest array of buyers,” said Swanson.

“A life of country-casual denim, tender dreams, and fulfilled desires await the new homeowner of Sunset Pines Ranch,” the listing states. Located in Pilot Point, which according to the seller, “has the largest collection of horse ranches in the world,” Sunset Pines has all the Texas horse ranch fixings.
The property includes a six-bedroom main residence, a 2-story guest apartment, caretaker/grooms’ quarters, a separate turn-out pasture, and a fishing pond complete with firepit. Of course, it wouldn’t be a true Texas ranch without a five-stall horse barn with a tack and feed room.
If that’s not enough to satisfy someone’s inner cowboy or cowgirl, the property is minutes from Ray Roberts Lake State Park and Isle du Bois State Park.
“Sunset Pines Ranch is situated in the immensely desired area of Pilot Point, known for its rich history (the oldest settlement in Denton County), convenience to the DFW airports, downtown Dallas, and for being a Texas Main Street City,” said Jennie Heal, president of Supreme Auctions.
