A West Coast developer is solidifying its Texas footprint, one Austin lake house at a time.

Harbor Custom Development, headquartered in Gig Harbor, WA, announced Monday that it’s bringing 208 single-family lots under various stages of development across the Austin metro and the surrounding Hill Country area.

The Horseshoe Bay region is where its portfolio is most concentrated, with a total of 184 lots across four communities: Siena Creek (32 lots), Stone House (65 lots), Summit Rock (78 lots), and The Trails of Horseshoe Bay (9 lots). About 40 miles northwest of downtown Austin, Horseshoe Bay is known for its golf courses, resorts and hotels.

The remaining 14 lots are scattered across the Austin metro’s luxury markets from La Ventana in Hill Country to Georgetown in the northeast. Harbor’s business model is centered around acquiring land with scenic views to develop and sell residential lots, new home communities, and multifamily projects within a short commute to the nation’s fastest-growing metro employment corridors, according to the company.

The new homes will embody “the essence of Hill Country living,” said Sterling Griffin, CEO of Harbor.

Harbor’s homes range from 2,200 to 4,200 square feet, with prices ranging from $900,000 to $2,000,000. Most homes feature four to five bedrooms, 3.5 to four bathrooms and garages for two or three cars.
