A home on a corner lot in Dallas’ Hillcrest Estates neighborhood featuring walls of windows on two floors listed for $10.9 million after a renovation.

Located at 6645 Northaven Road and listed for $10,900, the home was built in 2007 with help from architect Lionel Morrison, according to the Dallas Morning News. It underwent renovations this year led by designer Brant McFarlain, who was a part of the 2021 Kips Bay Decorator Show House in Dallas.

The home has about 14,795 square feet of space with six bedrooms, eight bathrooms, and four half-bathrooms, and large floor-to-ceiling windows line the exterior walls along concrete floors.

“The entire house was built around this beautiful live oak in the back,” listing agent Amy Detwiler of Compass said. “There was a limestone wall that surrounded the tree, and they lowered that wall so when you walk in, the first thing you see is this beautiful tree. I think that really made a major impact on the house.

The renovations included relocating or reconfiguring some rooms and a full remodel of the kitchen and the primary bathroom, Detwiler said. The exterior updates included the addition of a privacy hedge to the 1.77-acre property.

The kitchen was moved during the most recent renovations and is set apart from the main living areas by built-in wood bookshelves around the doorway, according to the publication. It features marble countertops and stainless steel appliances, and built-in cabinets painted green. There’s also a breakfast area in the kitchen, a half-bathroom tucked behind a wall, and a butler’s pantry.

When entering the foyer, the main living areas are located to the left, and the living room and dining room share a large, open space with windows on either side. Nearby the area is a wet bar, which has a half-bathroom and a storage closet next to it, as well as a wine room on one end, providing storage for glassware and drinks.

Although the primary suite is the only bedroom on the first level, the home features five bedrooms, a playroom, a media room, a utility room, and an office area on the second floor. The primary suite has two walk-in closets, a luxurious bathroom, an outdoor shower, and a utility room.

Each of the bedrooms has an en suite bathroom, and the media room has an en suite half-bathroom and wet bar. The property also features guest quarters located on the second level, which has space for a kitchenette, living area, bedroom, and full bathroom.
