How many architects does it take to design six homes? Well, in this case, five.
Foursquare Builders are set to build an enclave of six ulta-luxury custom homes in West Lake Hills, one of the most affluent neighborhoods in Austin. Home prices for the so-called Wildcat Club will start at $11.75 million with lot sizes ranging from one to 4.5 acres, according to the Austin Business Journal.
The five architecture firms attached are all local and will be designing homes between 5,750 square feet up to 9,500 square feet. Furman + Keil Architects, McKinney York Architects, Jay Corder Architects and Clayton-Korte Architects each designed one home and System D Architects designed two.
Every home in the development will be listed with Darin Walker of Kuper Sotheby’s International Realty. Walker ranked No. 17 on Austin Business Journal’s latest list of top-selling solo Realtors with more than $77 million in gross sales in 2021.
The homes will also have options for home automation through two “nationally known” tech companies, Wigginton said.
The largest home, which came with an elevator and three second-floor patios, has reportedly already been sold. The owners hired Fern Santini — whose work has appeared in Architectural Digest and Traditional Home — to design the interior and Big Red Sun to do the landscaping.
Terms of the deal have not been disclosed.
