➤ Houston-based Partners has promoted Shaffer Braun to the position of Partner, following up from his earlier promotion to senior vice president back in January.

Braun joined Partners back in 2016 as an associate with a specialty in project leasing and tenant representation across multiple product types, and currently works in the company’s Industrial Services division. He has brokered over 150 transactions with a total volume of over $50 million since joining the firm.

Partners recently split from NAI Global, nixing its erstwhile parent’s initials from its name and embarking on an expansion. Last month it appointed Dan T. Moody to helm its investment and development platform, Partners Capital, which will help launch the Partners Land Fund I later in the month.

➤ Austin-based Northmarq, a provider and servicer of commercial real estate debt and equity, has appointed Chase Gardner as its newest senior associate in the investment sales division. He will serve the Central Texas area with a focus on advising merchant developers and multifamily owners. He will be working with Scott Lamontagne, Northmarq’s managing director of investment sales.

“There is tremendous opportunity in the Central Texas multifamily space and there is no better way to break into the market than working alongside Scott Lamontagne,” Gardner said in a release.

Gardner was a senior associate at Ascension — formerly known as James Capital Advisors — in Los Angeles for nearly four years before joining Northmarq, focusing on identifying value-add opportunities and assisting long-term owners in the disposition of property.

➤Cushman & Wakefield has hired a new investment sales team to join its Sunbelt Multifamily Advisory Group, appointing Grant Raymond and Asher Hall to serve as senior directors. They are the first Dallas-based brokers to join the group.

Raymond and Hall are jumping from Institutional Property Advisors, a division of Marcus and Millichap, which has been making its own moves in the Dallas market.

Raymond and Hall have handled the disposition of 50,000 multifamily units spanning value-add, core plus, and new construction assets across North Texas for the past three-and-a-half years, with a total sales volume of $9 billion.

Cushman’s Sunbelt Multifamily Advisory Group is a 98-person investment sales team covering 11 states and closed $13.8 billion in sales volume across 429 transactions last year. Both Raymond and Hall will work with Austin-based Ben Fuller and John Carr.

➤Garret West has joined Dallas-based Holt Lunsford Commercial as its newest market associate in the Retail Division. Garret was an associate at Vision Commercial in Dallas prior to joining HLC, where he handled leasing for retail, office, and industrial properties and served as a tenant rep for clients.

West is a graduate of Texas Christian University and received a BBA in finance with a real estate emphasis and entrepreneurial management degree. He moved to the Dallas-Fort area in 2015.
