Yet another big apartment complex is coming to one of Dallas’s growing suburbs.

KRR Construction LTD has filed plans for a 579,346 square-foot multifamily apartment complex with a $40 million price tag in Seagoville, a small suburb of Dallas.

The project has been dubbed KRR Malloy Bridge Residential, and is slated to start construction at the beginning of next year, with completion expected by late 2024. It will include nine apartment buildings and a number of townhouses, with the total number of units not yet disclosed.

Seagoville is about 30 miles southeast of Downtown Dallas and has a population of about 19,000. A small section of the city extends into Kaufman County, where Dallas-based developer Tellus is building a $1.5 billion master-planned community.

Cities across the Dallas-Fort Worth area ranked earlier this year among the highest in the U.S. for apartment construction, and that trend is still going strong with companies like JPI and Related currently working on developments in places like Anna and Carrolton.
