Cushman & Wakefield brokered a major lease in Houston for a global engineering firm.
Wood Group USA renewed the full-building lease of its 226,000-square-foot headquarters in Houston’s Energy Corridor.

Westgate III, the four-story Class A building located at 17325 Park Row, is in the 550-acre Park Ten Business Center.

The lease represents stability in a stormy Houston office market. The landlord of Westgate III, Griffin Realty Trust, was represented by Cushman & Wakefield’s Chip Colvill, and Cameron Colvill, formerly of Cushman but now with Whitebox.

“We were very happy to work collaboratively with Wood Group and its excellent real estate team to solidify the company’s U.S. headquarters for the next decade,” said Scott Tausk, Executive Vice President of Griffin Realty Trust.

Another office within the business park was purchased by Houston-based Fuller Realty Partners and ICP Funds through a partnership earlier this year.

Fuller Realty purchased a $147 million Houston Energy Corridor portfolio from Skanska USA earlier this year amid a market struggling with vacancies.
