Cushman & Wakefield brought three new team members on board to expand its Houston office.

The three-person team, led by Jennifer Campbell, will leave Marcus & Millichap subsidiary Institutional Property Advisors to join the Houston office of the Chicago-based firm, the Houston Business Journal reported. Campbell will be an executive managing director, while Joshua Hoffman and Avery Klatt will be senior director and director, respectively.

The team will handle Class A and B multifamily investment sales in the Houston area and work with the firm’s Sun Belt multifamily advisory group.

Campbell closed more than $5 billion in sales across more than 30,000 multifamily units at Institutional Property Advisors. Hoffman oversaw $1.5 billion in multifamily sales, and Klatt was responsible for $750 million in sales for multiple projects.

“Houston continues to see strong fundamentals and interesting investment opportunities to clients locally as well as nationally,” Campbell said in a media release.

Houston real estate agents have been making moves recently. Last week, David Baker left Houston-based Transwestern to join the local office of New York-based Newmark.

On the residential side, the number of agents closing deals in the Houston market dropped almost 10 percent in Q4 2022 year-over-year, according to data compiled by AgentStory, a company that tracks real estate markers. There were almost 8,200 active agents in Q4 2021, compared to a pool of just under 7,400 active agents in Q4 2022.
