A 3,300-acre ranch with giant zebras and rare buffalo is up for grabs in Lampasas County.
The Colorado River Ranch was listed at $60 million by TT Ranch Group of Briggs Freeman Sotheby’s International Realty, according to a news release.
The property boasts multiple homes, a massive lodge, more than 2 miles of Colorado River frontage, a private lake, a long-range shooting tower and an array of exotic wildlife. It’s located 14 miles from the town of Lampasas and about 83 miles south of Austin in the scenic Texas Hill Country.
The main lodge spans more than 10,000 square feet, featuring three bedrooms, a full bar, game room and commercial kitchen. Outside, there’s a giant screened-in porch, large fire pit and picturesque views in all directions.
A smaller lodge contains six bedrooms, and another six-bedroom dwelling offers a swimming pool and an expansive outdoor living area. Two other homes on the property are best suited for a ranch manager, ranch staff and hunting guides, the release says.
Wildlife on the hunting ranch includes dove, white-tailed deer, sable, greater kudu, Grevy’s zebra and Cape buffalo. Multiple barns, shops and sheds can accommodate outdoor enthusiasts.
TT Ranch Group’s other listings include the 1,200-acre Hickory Creek Ranch in Robertson County — listed just shy of $9.5 million — and the 640-acre Luna Ranch in Hunt County, priced just under $6 million.
