A London-based real estate firm is beefing up its leadership roster in Texas.

Savills appointed commercial real estate executive Cally Miltenberger to co-president for the Texas region. Miltenberger, based in Dallas, has deep local ties and over 19 years of industry experience. She will partner with Texas president Mark O’Donell in the firm’s strategic expansion across the Texas Triangle.

The firm, founded in 1855, is aiming to grow its commercial brokerage, capital markets and consultancy businesses across Dallas-Fort Worth, Houston, Austin and San Antonio. Their team will also identify portfolio pursuits and support the firm’s global occupier services platform.

“Texas is a top priority for the firm, as it’s the eighth-largest economy in the world with 13 percent of the U.S. commercial property inventory,” said Patrick McGrath, president of Savills West region.

Miltenberger most recently served as vice president of customer solutions for Link Logistics. She worked her way up through PwC, the Staubach Company and JLL before landing as a management consultant for EY Strategy and Transaction Group, and then as a client solutions leader for CBRE. She was president of CREW Dallas in 2022.

Here’s what else is shaking in Texas real estate.

  • Dallas real estate luminary Linda McMahon will be the first CEO of the Dallas Economic Development Corporation. Since 2010, she has been president and CEO of The Real Estate Council, the largest commercial real estate trade organization in Texas.

She was previously in banking for 30 years, and has served on the EDC’s board since the Dallas City Council created it with $7 million in American Rescue Plan Act funds in January 2022. McMahon will step into the CEO role on July 1.

  • Dallas-based commercial real estate firm Paladin Partners has hired Robert Miller as a partner to push the firm westward.

“Adding him to the firm allows us to have significantly better coverage on the western side of DFW and helps bring our vision of opening an office in Fort Worth one step closer to reality,” Paladin co-founder Conrad Madsen said.

Miller has specialized in industrial sales and leasing. He started his career with Lee & Associates in Temecula, California, before moving to the Dallas area more than 10 years ago.

The firm’s website describes itself as an advisor and boutique real estate firm focused on value-added investments in the U.S. and some markets in Latin America, and it focuses on workforce housing.

  • An MLS-driven technology firm based in Austin has hired Joe Kazzoun as CEO. MLS Technology Holdings appointed Kazzoun to lead its subsidiary Remine. He is taking the reins from Dave Borrillo, who will resume his previous position as chief technology officer. Kazzoun joined the firm from Zillow, where he was vice president of operations and success for ShowingTime+ and general manager of DotLoop.
