Commercial real estate firm Franklin Street recently opened an office in Dallas, just months after launching its Texas multifamily division. Franklin Street hired Chibuzor Nnaji to lead its Dallas multifamily investment sales team.

Before he joined the Tampa-based firm, Nnaji was senior managing director at GREA.

Houston-based investment and operations firm Pagewood is also expanding into the Metroplex. Pagewood recently closed a $25 million fund that will support acquisitions and operations in the Dallas area. The company recruited acquisitions vet Susan Pohl as senior vice president and Daniel Burnum as investment analyst.

Pohl has 30 years of experience in multifamily, most recently five years at Barvin Group, five at Resource REI and ten at KC Venture Group. Over her career, Pohl has closed over $4 billion and 35,000 units, according to a news release. Burnum brings four years of experience at Berkadia, which he left as a senior debt & equity analyst.

In the resi world, Kuper Sotheby’s International Realty, a Central and South Texas luxury brokerage, recently brought on two agents. Former Keller Williams manager Eric Copper is joining the Austin team as an associate broker, and Cat Lodge is joining the San Antonio team as an agent.

Copper formerly managed over 1,600 agents for Keller Williams’ flagship offices, overseeing more than $1 billion in volume yearly. Copper brings a British connection to Kuper’s, having expanded his business to London in 2023.

Lodge, originally from Australia, specializes in San Antonio transplants, especially executives, physicians, scientists and military families.

Lastly, a real estate newcomer is joining the C-suite at the industry’s biggest franchise. Austin-based Keller Williams hired advertising professional Sandra Howard as chief marketing officer. Howard has worked with major Dallas-based brands, including Southwest Airlines and AT&T. She comes to Keller Williams from Dallas ad agency LERMA/.
