As summer sales season winds down, luxury agents are still notching deals.
Austin luxury sales picked up after a down week, according to the Eklund Gomes Austin Luxury Report, which tracks deals last asking above $2 million. In all, eight signed contracts asking a combined $31.2 million crossed the finish line. They averaged about $4 million, or $687 per square foot.
The top contract of the week was for 703 Loma Linda Drive, a custom home built at the end of July. The 6,000-square-foot home last asked $7.4 million, or $1,233 per square foot.
The five-bedroom, four-bathroom home sits on 0.76 acres in West Lake Hills, one of the toniest suburbs in Austin. The house features a 500-square-foot terrace on the second floor. Construction, led by Seven Custom Homes, finished in July.
Darin Walker of Moreland Properties had the listing.
A deal for 4601 Amarra Drive took second place. The four-bedroom, four-bathroom house last asked $4.5 million. It sits on just over an acre and spans 4,760 square feet.
The property calls for a golfer: it looks out over Fazio Canyons Golf Course, which has drawn several million-dollar deals in recent weeks, and comes with social membership at Barton Creek Country Club.
Robin Banister of Compass had the listing. The property spent the summer on the market, first listing in June for $4.7 million.
Rounding out the top three was 67 St. Stephens School Road, by far the largest of the properties. The 10,400-square-foot mansion includes eight bedrooms and nine bathrooms, spread across 2.74 acres, a large lot by the standards of Austin’s suburbs.
