Bryson DeChambeau, the 2020 U.S. Open winner and LIV Golf star, has put his North Dallas mansion up for sale.
DeChambeau is asking $3 million for his five-bedroom, 5,300-square foot home, at 5649 Brookstown Drive in the Melshire Estates neighborhood, the Dallas Morning News reported. That’s almost $562 per square foot.
Jessica Smotherman of Rogers Healy and Associates is the listing agent. Smotherman’s husband, Austin Smotherman, is also a professional golfer and a friend of DeChambeau.
DeChambeau bought the mansion in 2018, shortly after it was built. It’s unclear what he paid for it.
If the start of the year is any indicator, the house could be snatched up quickly. Home sales are on the rise in Dallas-Fort Worth, increasing by 9 percent year-over-year last month. Luxury home sales in Dallas, or those priced at $1 million up, increased by 15.3 percent year-over-year in the first quarter, according to Redfin.
However, luxury inventory also rose by 35 percent from a year ago, possibly prolonging a sale as affluent buyers have more options at their disposal.
DeChambeau’s home, sitting on a nearly half-acre lot, offers a pool table, a media room with an HD golf simulator and two flat-screen TVs. The patio features a pool, fire pit, built-in grill and outdoor fireplace. DeChambeau added several backyard enhancements, including a custom pergola and the fire pit. The house is fully wired for TV and entertainment systems.

DeChambeau moved out earlier this year, and the house has since attracted multiple offers, Smotherman said.
The first floor has an open layout with an owner’s suite, guest bedroom and a large kitchen adorned with granite countertops. The second floor has three bedrooms, each with its own bathroom and walk-in closet.
The three-car garage includes some remaining gym equipment, mirrors, floor pads and a dog shower that DeChambeau used for his dog, Bear.
DeChambeau posted a house tour on YouTube in 2022.
