A $19 million waterfront hit the market in Henderson County, about 60 miles southeast of downtown Dallas.
The 11,000-square-foot estate, at 15788 Barron Road in Caney City, is listed for almost $19 million, or $1,727 per square foot, the Dallas Morning News reported. Altschuler and Company’s Kyle Padron and Brandon Terrell have the listing.
The seller, a Dallas-based attorney who wasn’t identified, found that his family didn’t use the property as much as expected and decided to sell. The 25-acre estate’s amenities include more than 700 feet of waterfront on Cedar Creek Lake. Built in 2021, the main home features nine bedrooms, nine full bathrooms and one half-bath. It has two private docks and a fishing pond.
It’s the most expensive listing on Cedar Creek Lake, Terrell said.
The property is tailored for those seeking a balance between activity and relaxation. It boasts a glass-enclosed gym and multiple athletic courts designed for tennis, basketball and pickleball, and a backyard pool.
The estate offers three additional residences, each with two bedrooms, two bathrooms, a kitchen and laundry room. It has a six-car garage, with a separate warehouse space, currently serving as a “man cave,” that could be transformed into additional car storage or enhanced as a recreational space.
The property could be right for families or corporate buyers, the agents said.
“You could be on that property for a week without even stepping foot in the main house. You know, it’s just the relaxation and peacefulness of the property,” Terrell said.
