Golf legend Tiger Woods is teaming up with a Dallas-based couple to develop a luxury golf community in Aledo, southwest of Fort Worth.
Known as Bluejack Ranch, the 914-acre project will feature Woods’ second U.S. golf course, surrounded by 600 custom homes developed by partners Andy and Kristin Mitchell, the Dallas Morning News reported.
Bluejack Ranch will offer homes ranging from 1,140-square-foot two-bedrooms to 3,350-square-foot four-bedrooms. Priced between $1.5 million and $4.5 million.
Home construction is expected to start by early next year. Much of the groundwork has been completed as part of developer Ryan Voorhees previous plans for a residential development with a golf course, called Kelly Ranch, a deal that fell apart.
The Mitchells, who live in Dallas and have deep ties to Fort Worth, are leading the development alongside professional golfer J.J. Henry. Andy Mitchell, founder and managing partner of Lantern Capital Partners, brings a wealth of business experience to the project.
Lantern Capital Partners notably purchased Harvey Weinstein’s company in 2018 for $289 million during bankruptcy proceedings.
In addition to Woods’ 18-hole championship golf course, the development’s amenities will include a spa, wellness center, family entertainment complex, pools and an equestrian facility with horses, longhorns and mini donkeys.
There will also be a 10-hole short course designed by Woods, plus a film, TV and podcast studio onsite. The club is set to open early next year, with the golf course slated to follow in early 2026. Only 400 golf memberships will be available, with priority access given to residents.
The project is modeled after the success of Bluejack National, a similar 767-acre development outside Houston, where Woods designed his first course in 2014.
“It’s extremely motivating for me to contribute to the golfing legacy of Fort Worth, and I’m excited to see what we’ll build together,” Woods said.
