Compass Houston brought a small sports-focused real estate team, Texas Made Realty, into its division recently.
The team comprises Suzy Pittman, Vivian Rodriguez, Chris Salinas and Tricia Messick. Collectively, they’ve logged over $27 million in total sales volume in 2022, according to Compass.
Since joining Compass earlier this month, the team has added a fifth member, Heather Harrison, who recently sold an estate listed at $3.8 million in Glen Cove, due east of Memorial Park.
Pittman, the team’s principal, is the former wife of Texans long snapper Bryan Pittman. She holds the title of Women of the NFL Preferred Realtor in Houston. She also serves as the exclusive realtor of choice in Houston for the Nexus Sports & Relocation network, which helps athletes transition their families and assets to new real estate markets. Pittman topped $20 million in real estate deals last year.
“I felt like there wasn’t a lot of support in [the sports] industry, especially if you’re not one of the marquee players,” she said. “A lot of athletes don’t have the guidance, so there’s just a lot of little nuances that we really look out for the players. I teach them how to make their real estate work for them being that I had personally lived the life. My goal is to be their real estate agent for life, not just for one transaction.”
Pittman has worked with Houston Astros players Ryne Stanek, Yordan Alvarez and Cristian Javier as well as Superbowl champion Justin Reid and Women’s World Cup champ and Olympic gold medalist Alex Morgan.
