A media company is relocating its headquarters to the Signorelli Company’s master-planned community in east Montgomery County.
Houston-based Hope Media Group, which operates several Christian radio stations, is building a three-story, 50,000-square-foot headquarters in the 1,400-acre Valley Ranch development, at the intersection of the Grand Parkway and Interstate 69 in Montgomery County, the Houston Business Journal reported. Construction is expected to start by the end of the year.
Hope Media will move from 1722 Treble Drive in Humble, roughly 10 miles south of Valley Ranch Town Center along I-69.
The company’s new headquarters, located in the 240-acre Valley Ranch Town Center, will have space for broadcast, podcast and video production studios. The building will also feature a café, 200-seat auditorium, a lobby with historical memorabilia and an outdoor patio on the top floor.
Valley Ranch Town Center is gaining attention as the second most-visited open-air shopping center in the Houston area, according to Placer.ai.
A $108 million conference and events center is on the way in Valley Ranch’s entertainment district, set to include a 55,000-square-foot ballroom/exhibit hall and nearly 20,000 square feet of meeting space, the outlet said.
Signorelli is embarking on several other master-planned communities in the Houston area, including Austin Point in Fort Bend County, Bluestem in Brookshire, Caney Mills, Chapel Run, Cielo and Granger Pines in Conroe.
Moreover, a number of Houston companies have relocated their headquarters this year. Earlier this week, NRG Energy leased 245,000 square feet in Brookfield Properties’ 3 Houston Center in downtown. The company will move from a nearby tower formerly known as One Shell Plaza.
Several companies have also relocated to the Energy Corridor in West Houston, including geo-data company Fugro, French engineering firm Technip Energies and Diamond Offshore Drilling.
