Call it the house that BBLs bought.

Dr. Calvin Jung, a plastic surgeon who is friendly with Drake, recently paid $12 million for 3315 Del Monte Drive, a mansion in River Oaks Country Club Estates in Houston.

Jung paid about $952 per square foot for the 12,500-square-foot home. Nan and Co. founder Nancy Almodovar represented Jung in the deal, and Robert Bland of Compass was the listing agent, according to HAR.

Jung gained notoriety in September when Drake gifted him custom scrubs from his OVO clothing line. In a TikTok, the rapper can be seen thanking the surgeon, who is known for Brazilian Butt Lifts, for “making these beautiful ladies’ dreams come true.”

Drake himself recently purchased a home in the Bayou City, a transaction he announced during his concert at the Toyota Center, days after the TikTok with Jung.

Jung’s mansion sits on half an acre that feeds directly into the River Oaks Country Club. It stands three stories and has six bedrooms and 10 bathrooms. Amenities include a four-car garage, temperature-controlled wine room, an elevator and a third-floor great room with a kitchenette. The interior, designed by JD Bartell Designs has an all-white theme with porcelain tiles and white oak floors accentuated by pale quartzite countertops.

Layne Kelly developed the home in 2021, according to the Harris County Appraisal District. That Houston-based builder also purchased the city’s second-most expensive lot in history last year, in the same subdivision, for $12 million.

Four other homes in the River Oaks Country Club subdivision are on the market, including the $20 million estate of trial attorney Tony Buzbee, at 1722 River Oaks Boulevard. The home was listed for $27 million in 2022. River Oaks continued to entrench itself as Houston’s premier neighborhood, scoring eight of the city’s 10 priciest listings last year.
