Majestic Developers, a four-year-old firm, is preparing to build a new headquarters in Sugar Land as part of its plan to double its workforce over the next year.
The company, already based in Sugar Land, recently acquired a 2.5-acre site at 7627 Branford Place near Costco and several medical office buildings off Interstate 69, in a $2.6 million deal, the Houston Business Journal reported. The seller, Branford Med Properties, had previously intended to develop the land for doctors before the plan fell through.
Majestic intends to break ground in early 2026 on a four-story office building spanning 45,000 square feet to 48,000 square feet. Construction is expected to take 12 to 18 months, with Majestic managing the $10 million-plus project entirely in-house, including design and construction.
The building will feature a distinctive design inspired by nearby offices and highlighted by a giant “M.” Planned amenities include a gym, full kitchen and bar for events.
Majestic’s current headquarters spans less than 10,000 square feet at 1650 Highway 6, about two miles away, with its lease expiring at the end of next year. The company currently employs 50 to 60 people, but aims to surpass 100 employees by the end of 2026, primarily expanding its engineering team. The growth stems from plans to break ground on eight projects next year, in addition to contracting to handle projects for other firms.
Founded in 2021 by CEO Santosh Cividi, Majestic focuses on single-family development and smaller residential projects in the Houston metro market. It recently launched its first major project, Majestic at Harvest Green, a 12-acre commercial center within Johnson Development’s Harvest Green “agrihood,” offering retail, restaurant, office and event space. While the company initially considered building its headquarters at Harvest Green, it decided to quickly secure the Sugar Land site once it became available.
The new site sits across I-69 from the Smart Financial Centre and near a planned 50-acre mixed-use development by Dhanani Private Equity Group, as well as Sugar Land’s new Trader Joe’s, which opened in October 2024.
Sugar Land, which competes with Houston for office tenants, has landed some marquee corporate names, including Frazer, Sysco and Hewlett Packard Enterprise.
