Serendipity Labs is opening up a second coworking space in Fairfield County, the Fairfield County Business Journal reported. The Rye-based operator plans to open the approximately 21,000-square-foot space in Westport in January, according to the outlet. Serendipity Labs already has a space in Stamford, and is eyeing Bridgeport and New Haven for future locations, CEO and chairman John Arenas told the outlet, adding that the company was “working [its] way up the Metro-North line — Rye, Stamford and Westport.” Serendipity chose Westport “because the commute times are long in Westport, incomes and education levels are high and the available alternatives in other locations were really just legacy executive suites,” Arenas said.
