Amazon’s first brick-and-mortar retail outlet in Connecticut will be in Fairfield County.

The e-commerce behemoth plans to open a store called Amazon 4-star in the SoNo Collection mall in Norwalk “by the end of the year,” according to the Fairfield County Business Journal.

The outpost will sell “a highly curated selection of products from the top categories across Amazon.com including devices, consumer electronics, toys, games, books, kitchen, home, and more,” Amazon said in a statement.

The e-commerce giant also aims to open a fulfillment center in North Haven by the end of the year. [FBJ]
